Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an outstanding psychologist since 1993, and the director for the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. She is widely known for starting modern scientific studies of children's memory as eyewitnesses and the use of child victims in court contexts. Professor Goodman's publications are extensive and she has been awarded numerous grants, and has been the winner of many awards at international and national levels. She has advised many administrations and agencies across all over the world on policy as well as research related to child victims in the justice system. She serves as consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a part of a variety of professional organizations that include Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Prof. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child Policy and Practice.
