Ashley Jones
Ashley Aubra Jones (born September 3rd, 1976) is an American actress. She's played a variety of soap opera roles including Megan Dennison in The Young and the Restless as well as Bridget Forrester in The Bold and the Beautiful. She played Daphne who was a regular character in season 2 of HBO's drama True Blood. Ashley Jones received a Bachelor of Human Learning for K-8 at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1997. She began her professional career as an educator at Maury County where she taught children in kindergarten and Reading. She then got married Brent Jones, her UT Martin beloved, and then moved in Thompsons Station in 1998. At Bethesda Elementary she started teaching 4th graders. In 1999 and 2000 she continued on to teach while completing her masters of instruction at Trevecca Nazarene University but stepped away from teaching when the family welcomed their son Baylor into the family in the year 2000. Ashley was able to spend her final 15 years working for the community, focusing on children's development at the church she went to and within the local community. Ashley was one of the leaders for the Preschool Ministry, and in Student Ministry since over 13 years. In the time that Ashley was at home with her family, she spent three years in homeschooling. In their time of homeschooling, children attended a home school-based tutorial, where Ashley additionally taught History to Kindergarten and 1st grade. It was a pleasure to be at home with her family and she loved to teach the children. But, God made it clear that it was time for their family to return fully-time. Brent and Ashley are the parents of five children. Silas Eliza Cruz and Cruz and Cruz GCA students. Baylor a GCA graduate is a baseball player at UT Martin. Callan as well as a GCA graduate, attends Western Kentucky University. The family is extremely involved and is fond of hunts, fishing and helping one another in sport.
