Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay, the director of drama and producer in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Her father, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching while at work, and also attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk starred in numerous commercials for children. Silk completed her studies at St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Early theater work includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto for further development of her acting profession in November 1999, and during the decade that followed, she relocated into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she began to meet him in 2007 during an acting workshop located in Los Angeles. Following their engagement in 2008, the couple married in 2009. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton, after the woman was converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk's TV work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The role was assigned to her as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk fell pregnant during the production of the season three finale, and revealed this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th 2013 that the show would return to the production. Season Four premiered on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. Her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers in the show Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top Television Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous social media following, including Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
